GCSE AI tutoring for learning and revision

SPARK AI gives GCSE-age students access to specialist AI tutors that can explain a classroom topic another way, break down a difficult question and create fresh practice. It is for learners who want guided help between lessons, whether they study at school or at home.

Subjects available today

The current subject tutors cover Maths, English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, History, Geography, Modern Studies and Business. There is also an Enterprise Coach. Students aged 11–14 can use Bridge Tutor to strengthen foundations before GCSE study.

Revisit classroom learning

Ask for a simpler explanation, a recap of prior knowledge or a worked example, then check understanding one step at a time.

Work through difficult topics

Share the topic and where you became stuck. The AI tutor can give a hint first instead of jumping straight to the answer.

Practise revision questions

Request short questions, respond in the chat and ask the tutor to explain errors or vary the difficulty.

A worked learning example

Example prompt

“I’m revising GCSE algebra. Help me solve 2x + 5 = 17. Give me a hint first, then a similar question to try.”

What that learning might look like

Hint: undo the +5 before dealing with the 2x. Subtract 5 from both sides: 2x = 12. Next divide both sides by 2, giving x = 6. Check it by substituting 6: 2 × 6 + 5 = 17. Then try the same method with 3x + 4 = 19. The useful part is the repeatable method: use inverse operations and keep both sides balanced.

Questions families ask

Is the tutor a person?

No. These are AI tutors. A parent or carer should remain involved, and students should check important school or assessment information with their teacher.

Is it tied to one GCSE exam board?

No specific exam-board alignment is claimed. Tell the tutor the topic and, where helpful, wording supplied by the school.

Do I need an account?

Yes. AI tutor access requires an account and a £10/month subscription, which can be cancelled anytime. The lesson planner is free.
